Skoots are portable hydraulic moving systems that raise loads off the floor onto heavy-duty casters, allowing smooth, precise manoeuvring in any direction. The load is securely strapped to the frame, preventing slip or shift, and four swivelling casters enable fine positioning. Once in place, the hydraulic jacks lower the item with millimetre accuracy.
At a shopping park in Reading, we relocated two 1-tonne, 6 mm solid-steel central-heating boilers from the first floor to ground level.
